Sherry & Kerry's Gravitation towards Veggie.ca

In Grades seven and eight, we were inseparable friends: Sherry & Kerry, Kerry & Sherry. At a time when insecurity is the only currency one is armed with in the hallways of junior high school, a best friend is an absolute savior! When it came time for high school, we chose different schools and completely grew apart! It wasn't until ten years later that an impromptu reunion occurred in Women's Wear at a department store. All social propriety was ignored as we squealed, jumped up and down and hugged, as impatient shoppers tried to pass.

In those ten years of absence from one another's lives, we somehow grew to have just as much in common as we had then. Most coincidental was the fact that we had parted company as meat eaters and had both become Vegetarians in the mean time! We're both high energy people, who don't discourage easily, are very happy with our choice to become Vegetarians and have nagging desires to be our own bosses. Hmmmmm………a business partnership?!

We could sit in of our living rooms forever and talk about how great it would be if there were more easily accessible information available for Vegetarians/Vegans and those aspiring to be either. We could sip endless cups of tea, shaking our heads about how every other group of people who share a major common belief, enjoy a sense of cohesion and community. Or, we could take the abundance of energy that eating fresh vital foods has provided us and DO all the things we wish were already done.
